Obstructions

Inspired by Mitch Goldstein’s Daily Obstruction exercise I like to take various limitations and express a message by adhering to them and exploring the creative process, and evolving my creative practice.

Physical Studies

I am fascinated by the corruption and changing of perfect, manufactured or machined structures and surfaces by the organic and imperfect. These are studies of geometric forms dipped in candle wax, as a way for the organic and chaotic to grow and change the structured

3D Renders

Part of an exploration of architecture I did at UCLA, this was again an examination of controlled chaos using perfect structures. I love the idea of mega-structures, and of the creations and systems we make growing outside of parameters.
